The Need for the Desert Rainwater Harvesting InitiativeRainwater Harvesting Initiatiative is aimed at alleviating poverty and providing a reliable water supply to some of the most remote populations in rural Rajasthan who have been in the grips of severe drought for the last four years. The project will utilise traditional Rainwater Harvesting techniques to provide a sustainable model to be used in drought affected areas throughout the world.
