A Sacred Celebration of Gurupurnima
In July 2025, OM Ashram welcomed a large group of devotees, from across India and around the world, to celebrate Gurupurnima, one of the most spiritually significant annual events in the yogic tradition.
On the occasion of the 11th International Day of Yoga (IDY), the global Yoga in Daily Life community came together across continents to honour this special day through the practice of yoga, meditation, chanting, community programs, and a collective spirit of unity, peace and well-being. Inspired by the message of 'Yoga for One Earth, One Health', each country brought its unique contribution to this international celebration.
On 1 June 2025, the Yoga in Daily Life Centre in Massy, France, welcomed practitioners for a deeply enriching and purifying workshop titled Yoga Detox – Hatha Yoga Kriyas and the Yogic Diet.
In September 2014, the United Nations General Assembly, following India's proposal, officially proclaimed 21 June as the International Day of Yoga (IDY). As has become an annual tradition, Yoga in Daily Life practitioners worldwide will celebrate with special events on and around this day.
A Sacred Moment: on the auspicious day of 30 May 2025, a deeply significant spiritual event took place in Vienna, Austria, when Vishwaguru Mahamandaleshwar Paramhans Sri Swami Maheshwaranandaji entrusted his personal rudraksha mala to his successor, Swami Avatar Puriji.
